<tbody> </tbody> <tbody> </tbody> <tbody> </tbody> Glazer Family Corvette Delivery Program Now Offered ​ One of Ed Glazer's best memories is going with his father to pick-up his first new Corvette in 1984, which kindled Ed's love for the car. Since then, Ed has owned many Corvettes and taken delivery of a couple of them at the Museum. ​ The Ed and Shari Glazer Family Corvette Delivery Program creates a special Corvette memory for a delivery guests' children and/or grandchildren, just like Ed had with his dad. This program is a complimentary enhancement to our R8C Museum Delivery Program, offering some additional features when our delivery customers bring their children or grandchildren to share in their experience. Read more about the perks of the program, courtesy of the Glazer's, on our website here.​ <tbody> </tbody> <tbody> </tbody> NCM Motorsports Park Adds Two to Board The NCM Motorsports Park has added two enthusiasts to its board of directors. ​ Art Bell has been a staple at NCM High Performance Driving Events since 2005 and has supported the Park from the beginning. A resident of Maryland, graduate of Johns Hopkins University and former Marine, he owns a CPA firm employing 140 people with offices in Maryland, New York City, the Cayman Islands and Ireland. "I have a financial background, a passion for motorsports and a passion for Corvette. I believe in doing things right and doing them at a high level of quality, which aligns with goals of everyone involved in making sure this is always a premier, first class facility." ​ John Heinricy brings a wealth of experience, having served as development engineer at Milford Proving Grounds, development manager for the Corvette Platform, assistant Chief Engineer on Corvette, Chief Engineer for the Camaro and Firebird, and ultimately Director of High Performance Vehicle Operations for the GM Performance Division until his retirement in 2008. He has also competed in over 240 professional races, and continues to race, instruct, test drive and consult with various teams, builders and manufacturers. ​ Read more about Art and John online here.​ <tbody> </tbody> <tbody> </tbody> Win a Corvette! Next week we have our first track event for 2016 - Michelin Track-X on Saturday, February 27 from 9am-4pm. The activity takes place in an autocross-type environment with coned gates, but on the racetrack. Runs are not timed, and it is an open event with no class structure. A great, budget-friendly way to get on track at only $75 per car when you pre-register ($100 day of). Learn more about how it works here. As part of the promotions of the car General Motors created a limited quantity of press kits, each numbered and in a sealed box. Chevrolet donated kits to the Museum as a fundraiser for sinkhole-related costs. You can score your piece of Corvette history with a $500 tax deductible contribution on our website here.
