NCM Technology Updates As reported earlier, the new website is up and running and the new membership database is complete. As a reminder: during this phase, the membership services section of the website no longer exists. All renewals and new membership sales go through the Store link. We are now transitioning away from member numbers. The new system focuses on members names and not as numbers - as it should be. This will take some getting used to and do rest assured that all of our current members do still have their numbers in tact but they will not be printed on cards and materials as the new member cards support a bar code system for ease of use at the admissions and store counters. Continued enhancements include an updated Point of Sale system for the Corvette Store which will be launched in early 2016. And the final piece to the puzzle is a new e-commerce program, which will be active approximately one month after the new Point of Sale system. Stay tuned for future updates as well as the introduction of new features to you as members and ambassadors. Free Membership benefit for NCM Club Members Is you club a Business/Club member or Business/Club Lifetime Member of the NCM? If you answered yes, we have a great new benefit for your club members! We are providing a free eMembership for one year for each member of your club that is not already a member of the NCM. This membership provides a 5% store discount, subscription to NCM eNews and membership card. This is available to new members only and not valid on upgrades or renewals. If your club members are currently members of the NCM, they can upgrade to individual or family levels for a 25%. Members can sign up online at www.corvettemuseum.org/etrial.
