Navigation screen blank

I own an 09 3LT Coupe and the nav screen won't light up in radio or navigation mode. If I touch the screen I can change channels so that part works but you can't see the buttons. All the hard buttons seem to work but the screen is blank all the time. Anybody any ideas? I have just checked the price of a new unit.....YIKES!!!

I had a similar problem with my unit. I noticed it failed only during high humity conditions (anytime there was condensation on the windshield). Running the car for a few minutes to dry it out, and powering the radio back on allowed it to work normally. Pain in the butt. I had it replaced under warrantee and have had no problem with it since.

If it had happened after warrantee, I would have lived with it.
