I've been on a Vette vacation this whole week. I'll spare you the the illicit high speed detailsn of carousing through the country... but I will mention that we met up with a 2005 C6 at a restaurant in Bowling Green being driven by a Vette Engineer. Car #41. They've been in production at 3-4 per day for the last three weeks! Nice! Verrry nice.
Adam Boca is one helluva host. Had it not been for his eagle eyesight we would've never been able to meet up with the engineer with the C6 nor would we have been able to see Callaway 001. The Vette museum is totally packed and there are a half dozen or so cars that were moved out of the public's eye till they can add on to the museum. Well, Callaway 001 was tucked away all nice and pretty. But, Adam got us access to go see it. I was able to get a picture of the megaphone exhaust and that was about it because it's 10 feet up in the air on a lift with another car below it. But, it's still there!!
Anyone have any idea if it's owned by GM or by Callaway?
