LIMITED SPACES FOR JUSTIN BELL DRIVING SCHOOL
A limited number of spaces are available at the Justin Bell Driving School offered as part of the upcoming C5 Birthday Bash, April 24-26. Both morning and afternoon classes are limited to only 20 participants. The Justin Bell School offers sports car enthusiasts a chance to experience the thrill of autocross car driving and students get hands-on training to handle their high performance Corvettes. ANNUAL GIVING CAMPAIGN UPDATE
Over $19,000 in cash donations and approximately $2,300 in non-cash donations have been received to date through the annual giving campaign that began in March. Over 206 total donations have been made, 6 of which are from Corvette Clubs and businesses. The campaign goal is to reach $125,000 by May 31st, 2003. Exciting projects including remodeling and expanding the Corvette Store; laying new carpet in the Design Area, Corvette Store, Atrium and Lobby; and remodeling the Design Area are underway now! Contributions to the campaign may be made in cash or other assets such as stocks, bonds, cars, or real estate. Cash donations may be made via mail, telephone, or the NCM website at: https://www.corvettemuseum.com/donations/project.shtml A 2003 Annual Giving dash plaque will be ordered for participants giving $50 or more; a paperweight for participants giving $500 or more; and a plaque for home or office for those giving $1,000 or more. These commemorative gifts will be mailed to you at the end of this year's campaign.
CELEBRATE CORVETTE’S 50TH – DRIVE YOUR CAR TO WORK DAY
The final countdown to Corvette’s 50th Anniversary is approaching. Mid America is celebrating with its 3rd Annual “Drive Your Corvette to Work” day, June 20, 2003. Along with individual commutes, there are 5 organized send-off locations, including the National Corvette Museum, GM Tech Center, Petersen Automotive Museum and others. Clubs and enthusiasts are encouraged to gather together and head out to work. Find out more about how you can be a part of this celebration and win prizes including a trip to Mid America Designs Corvette “FunFest” with complimentary travel expense and hotel accommodations.
