Take a Lap of Kentucky with Us​ Each fall we partner with the Kentucky State Police to take a scenic road tour around Kentucky. This year we have three trips planned, each offering a chance to see beautiful fall color.​ Stops along the tour include: Abraham Lincoln's Birthplace, Rosemary Clooney House, Newport Aquarium, Carter Caves, Old Pogue Distillery, Old Friends Equine Retirement, Toyota Plant tour plus loads of dining at favorite Kentucky restaurants - most meals included in the fee. Four nights of accommodations at the French Quarter Inn are also included.​ Dates for the trips are: Tour 1 - October 12 - 17 Tour 2 - October 19 - 24 Tour 3 - October 26 - 31​ Registration:​ NCM Members - Primary Registrant (driver and car) $950 / alternate driver $450 NCM Non-Members - Primary Registrant (driver and car) $990 / alternate driver $490

New 2016 Corvette Colors Start Rolling Off Line​ Chevrolet added two new colors to their lineup of choices for 2016, and those shades started officially making their way down the GM Assembly line on Thursday, August 13. The Corvette Racing Yellow Tintcoat and Long Beach Red Metallic Tintcoat join the carryover colors from 2015 including Shark Gray Metallic, Daytona Sunrise Orange Metallic, Arctic White, Blade Silver Metallic, Black, Torch Red and Night Race Blue Metallic. This week the Museum welcomed a number of R8C Delivery customers whose cars sported Corvette Racing Yellow, and next Thursday we will welcome our first Long Beach Red Metallic Corvette. Macy's Awards Museum Education Program

The Museum has received a $1,000 grant from Macy's to support our youth Engineering with Minecraft Camps.
Across the country, support from Macy's and Bloomingdale's giving programs helped sponsor free admission to museums and exhibits, special musical performances, art exhibits, and art and theatre workshops for children.
"In the past year we have hosted five Engineering with Minecraft Camps, and all five of them have sold out with long wait lists," said Museum Education Coordinator Kellie Steen. "Through this support from Macy's we have already scheduled three more camps for September 21, 2015, January 18, 2016 and February 15, 2016 when many of the area school children are out for holidays. We are thrilled with this new partnership to bring more kids out to the Museum for educational opportunities."
Bowling Green's Macy's has continued to partner with the Museum by offering a Corvette Store presence within their Greenwood Mall location. Additionally, the Museum loans Corvettes to the store for display as a way to cross promote the brands.
