So, after the money changes hands, and I've been informed by the seller that the car is being loaded on the transport truck, he tells me, "just keep an eye on the temp gage. we've had problems with it running a little warm, and haven't had a chance to work it out yet.". Hmmm. might have been nice to hear this before i sent large sums of money, but oh well, no big deal. The seller lived in Phoenix, so I can understand it may run hot. He tells me he pulled the t stat to make it run cooler. So when I get it home, I check it out. My opinion was it might run cooler with some water in it, so I fill it up. It is also guaranteed to run cooler with a t stat to restrict the flow of water, so that is installed. It seems to run as cool as it should, but in looking at the fan shroud, I can see the bottom part of it is missing, so I figure I'll try to find another.

anyone have a fan shroud in nice shape for a '69 350?
