All my C4's had the lug wrench under the drivers seat at the rear with 2 wing nutted clamps holding it down to the seat mount studs.

That's pretty interesting. Cause now I think I know where some parts go, and nothin's missin' anywhere :duh

Yep, those are the wing nuts and clamps I remember. The lug wrench would be placed on the carpet behind the studs and then clamped down with these.

All my C4's had the lug wrench under the drivers seat .

My '87 has it in the pass side storage compartment fixed to a stud on the side

My C4s were '92, '93 & '96 - so GM moved the lug wrench location for the 'late' C4.
