Need an opinion on a C5

veteluvr74 -- I was considering a new one but even with 10K down my payments were going to be outrageous. Last month Rick Daniels was offering 7K off of a new one. I should have jumped on it but things have been crazy at work and i was not able to jump on it. What I was thinking about doing was leasing one and then refinancing the remaining balance when the lease was up

Just to let you know, I can do exactly what he can.
$7000 off MSRP + 0% financing.

Do not lease the vehicle with 0% APR available, unless you do not qualify for it.

Your payments on the 2000 convertible would be marginally cheaper than a brand new one.

If you are considering $10,000 as your initial investment, I can run a few comps on your monthly payments.

Brand new 03 - financed
Brand new 03 - leased
2000 vert - financed

Let me know if you are interested.

;)

Oh man that is tempting...I am going to have to do some creating acounting with my finances to pull that off.....I would love a new one. If i got a new one it would have to be with a Museum Delivery

Think about it.

If you give me the info on the specs that you want I can give you a price and appox. monthly payments.

That way I can show you the difference between buying a new one or that convertible you have found.

I am an auto broker, and Rick Daniels may be able to get you a better deal... but he does have a boss.
But its worth your while to see what I can do.

let me know

the local Corvette dealer is offering new 2003 leases for $399/mo ! ! That is cheap for being a new Vette. Even though it's in metro Detroit the competitve area makes for competitive pricing. Check out the details www.corvetteking.com
Good luck:v

I went to their website but I couldnt find any information on the $399 lease.

If you give me an address I'l see if I can find a local ad to scan.

LeeJandZ..

Here is what I am looking to get

2003 Vert
1SB package
6 spd
Body side molding
Museum delivery
10K down

How do the numbers differ between buy, lease and a 2000 vert

Thanks!!

I am trying to find out the lease info now...
but I was wondering what would be the best length of term? (60 months)

Let me know then I can calculate.

I dont know your credit score... so I will give you an estimate for the convertible at 10%.

By the way... my "handle" is LEEJANDZ - pronounced legends.
Same thing... just a different spelling.

:bu

LEEJANDZ...

My credit is excellent. I am sure most people tell you that but it truly is. 60 months is fine, but if you could check out 72 as well. I appreciate you help with this.

veteluvr74

I cant do 72 months because the 0% only goes up to 60 months.

With $10k down I come up with 2 figures.
For the 2003 vert: $890
For the 2000 vert: $830

I still have not found the lease info... but keep $399 as an option.

No problem.

But please keep in mind that those are rough estimates.

;)
