basically I need a very detailed measurement of a c4 digital dash cluster ... depth-width-height-center of steering column hole to outside edges- ..... as much detail the better maybe a scanned picture with measurments would really help.

I also need the same for the switch thing found in the center of the dash.

Thanks if you can help!

What kind of project are getting ready for?

Looking into putting C4 cluster into my 82 since I am not to happy with the looks of a replacement digital setup I bought. Yes I know the dash harness is a nightmare but so is the rest of this car.

anyways thought I'de see if it could be made to fit and function like it was designed to. Then in my center area put the digital control unit and possibly a navigation thing since all the gauges that were there would be gone.

Yeah I know a long shot but hey would be a cool swap if it can be done and I figure my vette is not brutal riding like C4's so should help the electronics. That and this car is soooo far from original why not go a step further.

I'm excited to see your project complete! I've always thought that the outside of the c3 aged VERY well but the interior was too DATED even in late 70's.
Wish I could give the measurements but the dash is all together and I'd have to take carbon fiber dash off too. :W
Hopefully my new stereo will arrive soon. Best I can do is promise to take some measurements when I get around to replacing it since I need to take the drivers dash panel off to remove center console. It may not be for a couple weeks though.
Hopefully someone will have their cluster already out and can help meanwhile.:w

Yeah, that's what I hate most about the car is it's out dated interior. I've already added C4 seats to it and plan on disecting a 84-89 dash harness and integrate it into my my 82 harness so even the instant mpg's work on this cluster and all.

I am not planning a dash swap though just looking into adapting a C4's electronics into my stock dash and making it look nice. I like the aftermarket digital gauges to an extent but the factory C4 guages are in a league of there own.

So I want to customize my interior a lot and make it a definate one of a kind interior. But the outside of the car will stay stock in appearance that is one thing I love about the car!
