I need the torque figures for the caliper mounting bolts as well as the bolts that attach to the hub. I am switching out one of my front bearings on my 96 tomorrow. Are there any other bolts that I will need the torque specs on when I take off my hub?
Thanks in advance

Caliper torque spec's

Hi,
Chilton says 137 ft-lbs for 1988-89 or 151 to181 ft-lbs for 1990-96 vehicles (Chilton's General Motors Corvette 1984-1996 Repair Manual. Hope this comes in time.

Maybe if I could type, that would have made more sense. What I meant to say is that

GoldNugget is right , you can go check here for yourself. See link in post above.

check it out

Yep, page 9-17 under Brakes. 137ft-lbs or 185Nm for you metric guys 1988-89 vehicles. 151-181 ft-lbs or 205-245Nm on 1990-96 vehicles. No magic, just reading. I thought the spread on the latter figures was wide but that is what it calls out in Chilton's. I wouldn't give you a guess when you are obviously working on your car.

thanks for the link...i got the car back together...just have not seen a caliper mount tightened that much
