Jimmy, I'm about an hour away from Palos but I wouldn't mind taking a look for you. It would have to be this weekend, tho. Is this an Ebay thing? I'm extremely fussy, so I'd hate to shoot it down on you. I myself have driven up to 500 miles each way to check out some Corvettes for myself over the years. Feel free to email me.
