Need HELP on Transmission

I was surprised, no comments on my prior post. Does it have something to do with a black dot on the envelope?
Anyway, Please let me try again. A local reputable mechanic has informed me that my 6sp ZF will need fixing and that a new one will cst about 6 grand. First i need to find out if this price is reasonable and second I need to investigate other more economical options.
Please can anyone help me on this

You need to talk to Kurt White at White Racing products. The # is (813)891-1817. Six grand sounds like an awfull lot to me but Kurt will be able to tell you better than me.
