I am trying to find past owners of my 1964 convertible. I have so far tracked the car back as far back as Maryland, and am currently in the process of requesting a Title Record from Maryland MVA (DMV). The car resided in Maryland until August of 2000. I'm also aware that the person in Maryland who owned it until 2000 purchased it from someone else in Maryland, as MVA was able to confirm that the car came from within the state, but MVA was not able to provide any location information (for privacy reasons), or to confirm when the last Maryland owner purchased the car.
I know this is a **very** long shot, but might there be anyone out there who would know of someone located in MD who owned a Satin Silver 1964 Convertible, presume with 250-hp 327, 4-speed, black Deluxe interior? The car would have been in unrestored condition, but judging from the condition of the interior, very well-taken care of.
Also, other than immersing myself in DMV red tape, does anyone know of any other possible ways of tracking down past owners?
