Need help with Air Flow in the car 1982

Trying to troubleshoot why the A/C vents don't blow correctly. I have new A/C control switch, all the speeds work fine, the little rubber piece that connects onto it looks correct.

Does anyone know how to check the vacuum for strength? Would it help to replace the vacuum canisters inside the car? Any diagrams for this?

And the problem is? Maybe some more info would give you an answer that better fits the problem.

Nothing blows out of the Side Vents or Middle vents. So, when I put it on A/C or Vent...nothing blows out. Only the vents aimed at my feet have air coming at them.

What actually opens that big flap that supplies air to the Side & Middle vents?
