I have a 64 Coupe with the power assisted / vacuum brakes. Between the round, power assist assembly and the master cyclinder itself, on the bottom is a small hole. For some reason, there is a vacuum leak now coming out of this hole. The brakes don't seem to be affected but the hissing is loud enough to be heard over the engine and when the engine is shut off, the hissing bleeds out for another two or three seconds. Rather embarrassing! Anyone know what the heck this is, did I lose a plug, power assist going kaput?????? Guide me PLEASE!

Tks,
Zach

Sorry I cant answer your question but I did want to welcome you to the forum.
WELCOME

I have a 1966 with power brakes And I had my booster rebuilt and replated by boster dewey he is in hemining magazine .I chose a rebuild and replate because mine was an original power booster to the car.At the time I could of purchased a replacement booster from the local auto parts store for less then what I paid for the rebuild.

Good luck and have fun.

Are you able to post a picture of that ?

I have PB as well and there is only one hole that accepts the vaccum line coming from the carb....not more and not less.

Really curious if this is the original booster....
