Need to know distance between bumper and body panel

Hello Everybody,

I'm in the proces of installing my new front bumper, this one is a tru flex (polyester) bumper but fits very good almost everywhere. Only on the left and right side there is a space between the bumper (above the side marker/turnsignal) and the body panel above that. There should be a small space between the bumper and body panel but I don't know how much that would be. Could somebody be so kind to measure the space between the bumper and the body panel in several places (front middle and back for instance). Then I know how much I'm off with this bumper.
To make it easy, please let me know in 0.0 or 0.00 inch or mm's. Thanks!

In a few weeks I'll update my topic, this summer I have done some things, new ideas and of course some nice pictures to enjoy you

Not sure if this helps but 1/8 inch(.125) at the edge by the tire and tappers to no gap at the corner and across the front. I still have the stock bumper and looks like it has never been removed.

See if these will work for you. Considering that I was very careful inserting my Mitutoyo caliper's blades in contact with the paint finish, I would recommend discarding or dropping the hundreths' of a millimeter off the measurements. From looking at the numbers I got on my Vette, it looks like it averages 1.0 mm accross the front and approximately 2.0 mm along the sides.

I need to adjust some things I see, on the front everything is oke (maybe a little higher or lower in some places) but the sides are a problem. On the left (drivers) side I have (front to back) 3.5mm - 4.0mm - 5.4mm and on the rightside 2.7mm - 4.2mm - 3.6mm.
