Hello all.

First off I must say what a nice and helpful forum this has been so far. I’m just about to get my hands on my first Vet. My grandparents are nice enough to let me have their 81 4 speed that has been sitting on their drive way for 9 years! I know it will take some work getting her running again but im beyond excited. Can anyone help me put down a list of some maintenance I will need to perform on a car that’s been sitting so long? Thanks in advance!

Jake

Hi Jake,

Welcome to the CAC and the L81 Registry. Please don't hesitate to ask any question that may come up when working on your L81. There has been someone here that has done it before and will have an answer. I do suggest that you go to one of the Corvette parts houses and get a GM shop manual. It can save you a lot of time trying to figure out things.
