method of finish drying the Vette after initial wiping and drying.

Just back out of the driveway, put it in reverse, hit it for about 75 yards, brake hard, put it in first, hit it, then back in the driveway. All the tail-light water, mirror water, and other hidden water comes out of hiding. Another very quick wipe down of the drips and it's done!

Of course the neighbors get another dose of the local hoodlum with those freakin' B&B Bullets....:eyerole

Any other methods besides a leaf blower? Leaf blowers blow dust all over a clean car IMHO.

Oh, just thought of another method....let the valet parker wash up the car...no?

Thanks Roadfrog for that Public Service Announcement!

I think I am going to try the compressed air method. I talked to a detailer the other day and he said thats what they do in the mirrors, taillights and other nooks and crannies. Since I have a nice compresser might as well give it a wirl.:w

Have to agree, I am sticking to the compressed air rather than give the car a heart attack.

An air compressor is the best investment I've made in setting up my garage. It makes drying your car so much easier (though not as much fun as the frog's suggestion.:D ) I blow the whole car off and hit it with a micro fiber towel to finish it up.

Not a bad idea. Home Depot has them on sale right now.....:D
