I'd like to replace the Accel coil I've had on my 66 big block's ignition for the past 25 years. I would like to go back to something more original. Any recommendations? & where to buy?

Thanks in advance

Marty

Sorry guys, I forgot to resize the pic. Is should be better now.

Most parts stores will have a "Standard" UC-12, which is a generic replacement (assuming you have point ignition, not T.I.), for about $20.00; just make sure it says "Use with external resistor" on it. If you don't like the white lettering on it, just paint it black again to cover the verbage. This one will work just fine for anything short of NCRS judging. An original 232 or 262 coil will set you back $100 or more. If you have T.I., "Standard" probably has a coil for that too.
