I had to share this with Vette Guys and Gals. I was self employed for 30+ years in sales. Made a great living but got really burnt out doing what I was doing. But sales is all I've ever done.So I had a buddy that sold used cars for a large dealership. He told me what he made last year and it wasnt what Im used to making but it wasnt to bad. So I started in Feb of this year. And I did really great Feb, March, and April. On track for $100,000 plus for the year. But this place has New Chevy,Toyota,Lexus,Nissan and Scion Dealerships. And one of the largest used car dealer ships anywhere. But they also have a Corvette Center!!! We have Vettes, Hotrods, Harleys, Classic... Its really cool!!! In April the guy that runs it quits. I requested the job and got it!!!! Now my job is hanging out all day with the Vettes and Hotrods waiting on Vette Customers!!! My wife said it was like putting a kid in charge of a candy store!!!lol I've personally owned over 30 Vettes. And currently own a C3 and C4. Needless to say most of the inventory has a mile or two more on them.lol Even the 2012 Zr1. What a beast. The 427s are sweet to. And the Grand Sports. They're all baby dolls!!! Im looking forward to the 2014 hitting the pavement here!!!Anyway just had to share it. Ive helped 6 people so far this month get into Vettes. Four of them have never owned Vettes!!!

Sounds like a dream job......:happyanim:

Thanks Guys. Ive been hitting the ground about every other step lately. The managers tried to talk me out of it. They said I couldnt sell as many Vettes as I did other cars and trucks... But my thinking is Vette owners like most other people have other rides. And who better to buy all your vehicles from than a fellow Vette owner. Even though Im the Vette Guy, they still allow me to sell anything there!!!.
When I look at the dealer section on here I see "Supporting Dealer". Does anyone know how to become one and the costs involved?

Thanks Again Guys!!

The website's owner is Rob and he can provide all of those details. I will let him know you are asking.

Nice screen name too! Envy My Vettes?
Andy :w

Thanks Mac. Im looking forward to hearing from him. Andy, I saw that name somewhere years ago(I think on a vanity plate). So when the computer age started kicking in and everyone had a screen name, thats the one I picked. Ive used it for years. And now it finally fits pretty good!!!lol

I have that same kind of "job". Retired from a huge gas/electric utility and came right down to Corvette Mike's. I've been having a ball selling Corvettes. Imagine the fun I've had with guys who have never dealt with a Corvette saleswoman!!!
