Welcome to the Corvette Forums at the Corvette Action Center!

New Corvette owner from Australia

Look'n Good!

Pictures came through great, just got to say seeing a Corvette C-4 with the steering wheel on the right side is weird, but I guess you seeing it on the left side is weird too. One other thing does everybody park on the side walks in Australia ;shrug

Pics from my place

Thanks for that
No not every one parks on the foot path(side walk)
I only did that to take the pics
so much for the steering wheel on the wrong side
it makes it a hell of a lot easier for me the wipers
are on the Aussie driver side door just to confuse you
it would be a bit hard reaching across to use them
the blinker switch is to my left where Aussie
blinker switch is to our right and the wipers to our left
and just to confuse us a Mondeo because is made in Europe
has the switches the American way Im used to having
the blinkers on the left because of so many years in trucks
Now the white car is the Mrs daily driver
its a 2005 Ford Territory Ghia all wheel drive
and the silver one is My daily its a 2003 Ford Fairmont Ghia
both are 4.0litre twin cam six cylinder autos both made here in Oz
the six started off as a 144cubic inch log motor
then progressed through the years to become the twincam
thats all for now let me know if you want any more info

Very interesting John and thanks for taking the time to explain it to me. I am positive I would be very confused driving in Australia for sure, have issues in the US as it is ;LOLStay in touch.. .. .. :thumb
