New ECM...now AC blows hot air

Just had a new ECM installed by the Chevy Dealership and .before..AC was Artic cold...now....super hot air comes out...even after running for 20 mins...i hear the compressor kick in but just hot air comes out...any guidance would be great...

Hot air huh?

Can you change modes on the AC controller and make the vents blow in different directions?

When you first start the car.. do any of the A/C controller lights blink ( for the first 30 seconds)?

What temp are you calling for 60 I assume?

JohnnyD....so you've already asked the Dealership what they did to make the a/c not work? And they said...??

Hey Guys,
Checked under the hood and the compressor clutch kicks in and spins when the A/C is turned on and the pipes get icey cold. Yet hot air still blows through the vents. Checked and replaced fuse, no luck...so gonna take it back to the Chevy place and ask them what the hecks going on. I did notice that they forgot to plug in my hood lights so that may tell me that they might not have done something right when they replaced the ECM. :blow

As I expected...the repair person at the chevy dealership denied any relations to the installation of the ECM to the faulty air...they say it is broken now because of the aftermarket radio installed fell on the control switches and broke them....40.00 bucks for that info and still no air....:confused ad :confused ad

i have a similar problem - bought the car this way (89 c4) with digital climate control a/c is charged and cold , the heat is hot.
the mixing door that blend the two together doesn't respond to different setiings. replaced the little electric motor but still nothing :confused :blow
