Hidi y'all,
anyone have advice on: lowering c5, and or Corvette clubs in Colorado? Putting stock 2008 c6 rims/tires on, and want to push her to the ground now.

Auerhousecompany.com is a couple of the things I do to pay for my '99 c5. Have a small air filter upgrade, zo6 bilistiens on it. I am getting ready for the wheel and tire upgrade, and will be adding long tube header, x pipe, high-flow mufflers, etc.. in the next couple of weeks. Glad to have a place to talk shop. Will be lowering after I get wheels, should be 7 days'ish. Any advice appreciated.

Hey, Shawn, and welcome to the :CAC

Where in Colorado are you? There's lots of Corvette Clubs along the front range. I'm a member at Rocky Mountain Corvette Social Club, which is 'sort of' based out of the Springs, but has members from Canon City to Louisville. PM me if you'd like details.

Hi Shawn! Welcome to the :CAC !!

A search of the C5 Technical and Performance Forum using the "Search" feature will probably yield a dozen or so threads on the subject. Sorry I can't answer your inquiry but I'm not familiar with the process and since my '98 is my daily driver, lowering could have disasterous results on Cinnamon Girl's nose. ;)

I've lowered both of the C5's I've owned! It's easy.
:eyerole Gee, that's helpful.

To the OP, here's some links to get you started...

I would modify one step in the instructions though. Assuming your car is setup properly now and has no handling problems, you should adjust for equal number of turns, not equal threads. Just put a dot of white-out on the adjuster and it will be easy to determine the number of turns.

After you've lowered it to the height you like, drive it around for a week or so then re-align your wheels/tires. I lowered my per instructions on this forum and it's quite easy. I'd wait until you get your wheels unless the wheels you're putting on are OEM sized.
