hello all. i just purchased a 2008 2 dr coupe in white yesterday july 4th. the car had 3300 miles on the odo and is in beautiful condition; one owner clean carfax. i am thrilled to finally realize my life long dream of owning a corvette. of course it is a manual trans. the wife was so worried about the cost (although i believe i got a fair deal), after she rode in it for about 5 minutes she is also in love with this car.

anyway, i'm here and hope to learn as much as possible. i don't really have any plans for upgrades at this time but would like to get out to a track day asap. my previous car was a mazdaspeed3 which was a fun and very quick car but had a few quirks. also had a mazda miata about 5 - 6 years ago. also at one time a toyota celica GTS (all manual trans).

Let me add my welcome to the CAC and congratulations on the C6. I too have an 08 (red vert) and love it. You will get a thrill each and every time you get in the corvette. I do and I've been with corvettes for 51 years.
