Way to go Shopman. I grew up in NJ and know the cops would have a field day writing you tickets if they saw your car without the front plate. I now live in TX, as you can see, and the front plate is required here too. Though I plan on just not running it for a while and seeing what happens.
An earlier idea I posted on this subject...what about an "L" shape bracket? I plan on fabricating one for my C6. The horizontal part of the "L" will attach to the underside of the intake, (roof of the mouth) and the vertical part will house the license plate, held in about the same spot as the current "ugly" GM version. Any thoughts??
PS - My car came in and is now in prep....I stole the GM plate bracket out of it so some dimwitted shop tech wouldn't accidentally attach it.
