New member in Florida

Hi, I just joined and hope to get some help. I have many questions.

I've got my C4 steering wheel off but am having problems re-installing the plate that trips the turn signal. It has a very strong spring behind it and I can't push it down to get the C clip on, any body got a method to do this?? Help :confused

There is a special tool that screws onto the end of the steering column and then presses down on the plate with a bracket and nut. You may be able to borrow on from Autozone or ?? Otherwize, it is a beatch to get it all back together. By the way, how'd you get that thing apart without putting yopur eye out??
