New Member: My '77 is almost back on the road!

Hey all! Long time C3 owner here. About ready to have my '77 back from the dead.

Exactly 5 days after spending $3800 to have the entire suspension and rear end rebuilt, somebody decided to total my '77. I have owned this car for 14 years so I of course decided to save it. Thanks to the excellent treatment I received from the insurance company, I was able to restore her. And make her better. It now sports a Blue Print 396 sb, a 700R4 and MSD Atomic EFI. Just waiting on Hardcore Customs in Nashville, TN to finish the paint. Man it's been a looooong 9 months off the road!

Very nice!! It's great that you were treated well by your insurance company. Sadly, owners and insurance companies don't always see eye to eye. The C3 in the photo looks good! Are those the graphics you intend to use or something similar? Post up new photos when she's ready for her debut.

The Vette at the bottom is one I photoshopped to show the paint shop. Finding a color/look I liked was kinda hard to decide on, so I tried a number of combinations. The insurance company was good to me thanks to suffering a wrist fractured in 3 places and extensive nerve surgery--and my great lawyer. The other driver nailed the right front wheel which caused the steering wheel to spin which broke my wrist. It bent up the power steering pump pully and mounting bracket.
