The new mid-engine whatever on the way therefore pricing the corvette out of reach but for a few. Say goodbye to working class guys hoping to get a new corvette. What did they say 150,000 and possibly much more. A new club for the elite as corvette ownership will go by the wayside. So much for America's Sports car. They seem to be going that way already.

The middle class is going away, the money is at the top and GM knows it.

Hopefully GM still markets a front engine Vette at the same time.

Well maybe not all of us (hopefully), but the middle class is shrinking fast and the rich are getting a lot richer. All the auto manufacturer's are going upscale to tap into the market, look at Hyundai. Selling to the one percenter's only makes good business sense which is why Lambo and Bentley are marketing big SUV's.

Let's use the next few weeks to talk about our favorite car and not the pending doom awaiting for the country. I never thought I would see Hyundai mentioned on a corvette site.

Details like pricing, etc., when it comes to the next generation Corvette is all hear-say right now. Lets wait for the car to actually reach pre-production status and more official details to be released by GM before we start jumping to conclusion about how much it's going to cost.
