This is my first post to the CAC. Purchased my first Vette - a '98 - a year ago. Love the car but finding small
aggravating problems (imagine that). Would appreciate input/info on following issues:
1. slack in the seat rails - press brake and seats slide forward about 2 inches; Is there an aftermarket fix for it?
2. washed car three days ago and wipers became possessed with Gremlins - random, slight movement trying to "seat/stop".
3. the DIC is a real "piece of work" - Low Coolant message (reservoir is full) , Service Tire etc. (new Michelins - probably sensors?)
Bought new Key Fob - trying to sync it was like a blind man playing Scrabble but I finally got it to "register".
4. Multi-disc CD player in rear compartment doesn't work
Beautiful car, awesome power ... but the guy who designed the electrical system must have some blown fuses.
BTW, I'm the second owner and was told it is a "Museum Car" - can anyone enlighten me further on this?
Have all the original docs, invoice, Gift Bag etc. Had 16k miles on it.
