Well we are finally getting somewhere with this project,,everything just seems to take tooo long. Goes to Arizona Speed and Marine next week to do the LS2 engine and Tremec 5 speed tranny. They are doing some head work, new Comp Cam and all new roller valve train and the LS2 high tech springs and rods, should be good for about 510hp and 480tq.

Looks great, thanks for updating us.

Someone from this sight was just recently looking for a wide body kit for a midyear (widebody is that the correct term,I know fender flares definatly is not correct)

Were you able to find information on the ls1 engine swap. Keep us posted what color are you going to paint it

Larry,

I put R.T. on to the "wide body" fenders some time ago. They look great Rian. :beer

The wide wells look great as does the whole car and motor. Glad to see it shaping up so well for you.

Thanx, I can finally see some light at the end of the tunnel. They are dropping the car off at Arizona Speed and Marine to do the engine work and tremec 5 speed. They C&ced the heads and we are using Comp Cams 273/279 cam, their Hi-teck rod's, roller rocker's, and spring's, probably good for about 7400Rev's "ouch". When they're done.. back to paint...Damn it I can't wait...I thought I could get this done in 3 months....WHAT THE HECK WAS I SMOKIN'

For all you gear heads some pics of the heads

"and yes I am going to say this again....it's all Bob's fault"
I was in Florida recently and I saw a license plate "nowife" give me an AMEN

And yes I did find the info on the LS type engine swap, Rich Lagasse was a big help. I found "Arizona Speed and Marine" right here in Chandler,Arizona, about 30 minutes from me. They are absolute genius' with this type of thing. They R&D'd the "RamJet" fuel injection system for GM for the 502. They do some out rageous stuff including their Fuel injection system for the new 572. So needless to say the Hotrod is in the right hands.
As far as the color it will be 2004 Enzo Ferrari Yellow with a black stinger hood

this is probably a dumb question on my part....but are you using the OEM intake fuel injection or was the intake changed to something else? If you are using the OEM, then are you also using the computer module as well?

Just curious as to how all that is being handled......thanks

"Arizona Speed and Marine" is doing the engine install and they have their own wiring harness and they're using a "Delphi MEFI 4B computer" as I understand it this will allow them to bypass the massflow air sensor, but this stuff is way over my head.

I also have Roger Scott from "Corvette Instrument Service" doing a complete refirb on the cluster and converting it to electronic,:Steer :Steer :Steer although look stock.

It won't be long now

Sorry, and yes for the time being we are using the stock fuel injection and intake:Steer

I just can't decide on what kind of wheels to use, I would like to stay retro but somewhat modern, I am going to use 17" rims, 10's on the back and 8's in the front....but what kind??

There are a lot of choices out there but I wanted to stay chrome, it will be a driver and those Billet wheels only stay shiny soo long, a little heat, a little water and it's all over.
