New rims before and after pics

Boyd Coddington 17's with 255/45 in the back and 245/45 in the front. $1000 for the rims and $600 for the Falken tires

Well,I might be able to do the tires, but its alittle tight at the moment for both.Nice to know I can fit that much rubber under my '77!:Steer :Twist

The new wheels look good. If it was me, i'd have repolished / replaced the old wheels though.

I'd guess it would handle a little better with the shorter sidewalls. I wonder if the ride is harder though.

I'm kinda with 78SilvAnniv & Vette/Berlina-coupe on this subject; the 'older' C3s (STILL the best-looking car ever built!) look kinda 'ricey' ("wooga-wooga-isk/cap-yo'-azz-wit'-ma'-nine") with these 'way-over-sized' wheels.
You'd expect Elton John, Burt Reynolds, or a '70s porn-star to hop outta one of these Corvettes.....Maybe I'm just 'showin' my age'.....
I chromed my N90 wheels, and they clean-up perfectly with just water. I get compliments from the NCRS-crowd, AND the 'hot-rodders', too.
I haven't even been 'capped' yet, either.....

Maximus

They are American Racing wheels and I believe they were called AR 136. Mine are 15" and are direct bolt on without needing any spacers to clear the brake calipers. I really like them.

Really,Roy,I thought they looked like 16's:eek Hey,I see your in Fla.I've got relatives in Orlando, was born in Jax,& did some law enforcement myself:beer :CAC :v

i think they look great, makes it look like a completely different car.
