During my visit to California, I saw the original hood from this car, and now found a few pics of the completed machine! :eek :cool

Awesome!!!!!

If you have not considered attending a driving school before, this would be one heck of an incentive! I have been (three-day class) and it really is a great program. With the Callaway in rotation, it can only be better!

When in Florida, consider my friends all Corvette driving school. Its gotten very high marks from a few Callaway owners who have enjoyed track day events and gotten race licenses too. The instuctors are great and tons of seat time. Here is a link;

I have been there twice, about the nicest folks you could ever meet, plus, you get about all the seat time you can handle...

there is a new program there where you can stay in LV and the hotel will drive you to the track and back every day. great way to see the sights in LV and let someone else do the commute for ya.

...I remember on the plane out to Spring Mtn, a lady beside me asked where I was going in Vegas. ;squint:

I said I wasn't actually going to Vegas, but rather, the town of Parhump, about 45 min. S/W of town. She said she know a place that would drive me out to Parhump if I hadn't made arrangements yet :ugh

She offered me a ride back in that same stretch limo when my business was wrapped up there. I knew we were not talking the same thing, when I said I was going to be out in Parhump for three days - she said nobody really stays that long. ;shrug

Turned out, she was talking about going to a ranch, I was talking about going to Spring Mountain :lou

Third trip...

I just returned home from Spring Mountain, my 3rd trip. We drove the @#$%^&* out of the Z06 cars, they are just simply incredible. Some of the cars have over 25,000 miles of TRACK TIME and just keep on ticking!

We got to drive the Callaway on the track. This an amazing vehicle. The brakes and handling are beyond description. The engine, supercharged, pulls like nothing you have ever driven... You don't notice the supercharger whine as the speed steals all of your senses...

This is a must do experience for any vett driver...
