Took a pic of the new throttle plate purchased through the LT-5 Registry. Just thought I'd post a pic :)

Jay,
Looks Great!!:dance Just got mine in the mail also.

Any tips for installing it? I have the new gasket.
Did you have to drain down some of the coolant to install it, or wasn't that a problem?

Hey Gordy,

I while back I ran a coolant bypass around my throttle body so no antifreeze came out. I don't think you'll have much of a problem with antifreeze leaking:)

Thanks Jay,
I'll put my new throttle plate on tomorrow.
I've got the ZR put away for the Winter and up on the ramps to replace the hydraulic clutch slave cylinder that started leaking a bit this past Summer.

If the slave is going, I would suggest you go ahead and change out the master... they usually die on you about the same time (after all, they have been through the exact same number of cycles), and it would be terrible to do that job twice.... also, the connector between the two usually needs to be replaced

Thanks for the info Vettelt193,

I think I will change out that master cylinder also as you suggest.
No need to do that "bleeding" job twice even with my MityVac!
