new to me in MO.

Now the owner of a 1993 torch red coupe. That's the short story. Actually this all started while I had my Electra Glide for sale. I had an offer to trade for a 91 coupe collector edition. Had a hand shake deal but the owner backed out the next day. The wife though she would look good in a Vette so I pursued the idea. I started contacting vettes for sale to trade. Well there are some "projects" out there that some think are-- I'm not going there. I had 2 that intrested me a 89 convertible stick 2 tops and this 93. the 89 was about 300 miles away and the 93 was local. Wife liked the red and not a stick so the deal was done. It's a driver almost 150K miles and has some work that needs done but runs just fine. Got it on Fri. and took a road trip on Sun. from St.Louis to K.C. with no problems. I did change oil the belt and rad hoses b4 leaving.

Now can any one tell me about the side exhaust on this car. I have searched the web and so far nothing. I have a neighbor with a C1 and C3 and has never seen that on a C4

Kenny, i live in mehlville so we are real close. your red vette looks real good. i have never seen side exhaust on those years, but i think it looks real neat, like the chrome z06 wheels. If you went to KC and back it must be pretty good.Billy

I also live in MO and have a C4. I really like the looks of the side pipes. It appears that they are covered with fiberglass. Does the outside get very hot? It also look like they are relativity close to the ground, do they scrape the gound? Nice car

I have seen a couple of pictures of c4's with these side pipes, from what I can find they are no longer in production. Perhaps someone here knows who made them and a source.
