If you guys send me your individual emails, I can send you the pics no problem. Each file is approx. 1.8mb, so its hard for me to post them here without some software.

Hey took a few pics. but do not have photoshop, so I tried a zip file hope it works. I guess it didn't work. I sent a zip file to Z OH 6 and he is going to try to post them. The files are too large.
Here are two photos Todd took of the new chromies. All I can say is WOW!! They look super good on EB. Now that's what the kids call 'bling'! :L

You're more than welcome. On my photo program I selected a tool called Transform and I 'resampled' it down from the original size to a more manageable size, about 600KB. I also cropped the photos a little and hid the wire in the background of the originals with some trees. The car really got some sparkle!

Hey Z OH, I forgot to mention, those are also Borla Stingers. I have Borla shortie headers up front with no high flow cats as of yet. I will probably get some high flow cats with a Bassani X pipe to finish it off. I threw on the headers one day before having the rims installed. The only down side of the rims is their weight, compared to the stock rims, but I can see a handling advantage, because of the extra weight to keep her planted.

I noticed those hot little Borlas peeking out from under there! I was told that the chromies weren't too much heavier than stock but that's ok, I need to go on a diet and lose some weight anyway. Maybe it will all balance out. Let's see, where did I put that celery stalk? LOL!!;LOL

Hey Z OH, I delivered the new chrome rims to the place where I had them installed. I was not surprised at the weight, until they loaded up the stock rims in the same boxes after the install. Each box with the fronts in one, and the rears in the other weighed approx. 15-20 lbs less with the stock rims inside. The problem is I don't have the packing list with the shipping weight on the chrome rims, darn! The shop threw the boxes away as far as I know, so I didn't get a peek. There are a few factors like I said, that we can benifit from having the heavier rims like handling, improved highway mileage with throttle lift downhill lol! I'm just trying to make myself feel better, and justify donating some new header horsepower gain, towards some new heavy chromies. :( A definite offset if I may add lol! Hey maybe I still gained 3 hp overall in the end???? Ahhhhhhhh, there I go, trying to make myself feel better again. Once I add the Supercharger, and after my wife kills me for spending the cash on it, all this will be moot. :D
P.S. edit: I just checked out your homepage, very nice! Those Pics were crisp!

Hey Slong, I was wondering where you were. Hey I've had alot of people react to the way the car looks now. People used to look, now they gawk. The other day, I had a guy in a Ford F-250 riding down the highway put his window down yell out the window how much he liked the car. The people at the tire place that installed them said that they thought it really brought out that blue color.I'm glad you like the way it looks Slong. You are going to have to get an extra set of chrome rims and tires that you keep at your mother's house to throw on whenever you go for a cruise. ;)

Heard that!!! Also can't wait to get rid of the red side markers. Clear looks so much better. :D

Hi Todd -

That looks great - I can attest to the improvement - I had chromies before the CCW's - the really pop on an EB car...

congrats!

Re resize picture...:
If you're running windows XP -
1 right-click the start button
2 select the "explore" option
3 find the picture file you want to resize
4 right-click the file you want to resize
5 select the "open with" option
6 select "paint"
7 the picture is open in MS Paint
8 select the "image" menu option
9 select the "strech/skew" option
10 replace the horizontal and vertical stretch parameters with a lower percentage (it will be 100% in both parameters - try it with 25 for starters)

You should now see your picture resized smaller - select file, save as and then save the smaller version of your image to your hard drive.

The above should be similar in older windows versions. Paint should come installed on windows machines. I hope this gets you going.

best regards -
