Those are cool looking with the blue. Good idea to stay stock. I guess it won't be long till I see them live and in person.

Resisted the urge to go A-Mold on mine. Sawblades are fine for me, and are getting to be a rare look on a late C4! Wonder how they would look chromed out and blingin'. You better get some polish and good diapers. For the wheels.

BTW I think that one goes on the other side..........:confused

Jeff's sawblades are chromed and from the same vendor. You'll see them as well on the 5th Tim...:)

Here, they charge $2.00 per tire. You can keep the tires if you want and there is no charge.

Ha ha ha Come on man, where Am I going to put 4 used tires in my Vette?;LOL

here they are

here they are installed. The emblems had to be ordered seperately and are going on after I have lunch...

Awesome! I can't wait to get mine on the Vette, unfortunately we are getting 6'' of snow tomorrow. Oh well wouldn't you know. :mad

So what does the core charge work out to percentage-wise? Those rims are very much in demand by the pre-88 guys, wonder if they would be worth more separately or if you have to give your old ones in as a core?

with emblems

the emblems are on.......(it was a quick lunch...;LOL)

The core charge is $600.00 but you can buy them outright for $1400.00 I think. Shipping (round trip) was 185.00 so the core makes the cost a little under half.

I likey. Must be nice to be able to swap wheels around etc. on lunch as opposed to looking over at the shop where mine lies buried under the snow while the thermometer sits at around -20F...
Wankers.

That looks great! I guess GM changed the slant on the spokes when they did sawblades. Aren't yours different from the picture above in RJSRocket photo?. No matter. Careful where you leave your ride parked now.

10 day countdown. Do you have a list of folks at the BBQ post? You should put her on a dealership turntable in the front yard and we can sit in folding chairs and admire.;LOL :beer

Same wheels as RJS. 88 and 89 are identical. The 90 changed to no centercap with the lignuts exposed.
I hate to say this RJ but I'm in shorts and a t-shirt detailing the vette right now....:)

Tim? I'll keep an eye out for a good used turntable.....The list of attendees is in the southeast forum....:w

see ya in 10 pal...

Mine are on backwards for some reason...

They are a left/right pair. The side is stamped on the inside of the wheel. Front to rear don't matter but right to left does. The best I can determine is that they help in brake cooling when installed correctly.

Did I just use the phrase "don't matter" geeeze I meant doesn't matter......see what happens after 2 days in Louisiana...;LOL

tirerack.com :w

I should have taken your advice in the first place, but in the end I did purchase Eagle F1 GS-D3 @ Tirerack.

Two local shops said that they sold the F1s but not in my Vette's size, they would have to special order them and I wouldn't get the discounted prices; so I called around some speed shops and found one who specializes on aloy wheels.

I did have issues with the installer though, he put 2 of the tires on backwards but I saved enough money to buy a aluminum wagon jack. :D

Thanks for the advice!
