So.....um, hi.
Just bought my first Corvette last Sunday, and am anxiously awaiting its arrival. I'm kinda mad:mad I didn't get to go to California to pick it up, but I have to work, and it has to be moved or pay another $200 in storage.
It will need to have some TLC, and I am sure I will be picking you guys brains for the next several years:D.
Looking forward to getting to know you all and to many miles behind the wheel.

Mitch

While this is the first Corvette I have owned personally, I have driven several over the years. The last being my boss' 89 Coupe on a 2500 mile trip a couple of years ago. I decided during that trip that I was going to own one somehow.:BOW ;worship
Thanks for the welcome guys. I hope I won't be too much of a pain with my questions. Unlike most people, I do know how to use the search function:D.

Welcome aboard! I'm not a newbie here on the CAC but I guess I'm a newbie to the C4 forum. I just purchased a C4 this past week. A Copper Metallic '94. One of only 92 coupes, it isn't as rare as the convertibles but the C4 is a fabulous machine. Looking forward to getting to know you too!

Welcome to the :CAC !!!!!!!
Hey, that $200 storage fee will now come in handy once you get your hands on some Vette catalogues!!! Already have a list, don't you?!!! :w

Thanks everyone for the welcome! :w

Well, the Corvette arrived in Oklahoma this afternoon, but I still haven't seen it!:mad It's 12:36am, and I just got in from my show in Texas. I am going to be very busy with it tomorrow.
It is an 1985 Metallic Gray coupe, 4+3(I know), leather silver interior in good condition for its age. 78K miles. It has some paint problems on the hood and front & rear bumper covers, and the ignition switch is broke. There is supposed to be a lot of fresh engine work. I guess I will know lots more tomorrow.
Thanks for the help offer, WhalePirot, but everything is taken care of. I may need you to kill someone if this thing isn't all it's supposed to be!
:grinshot:bash:blow:r

I'll try and get some pics put up tomorrow.

Thanks again,
Mitch

Welcome on board Nitronick,

As you may notice I have joined this forum all the way from Turkey. I bought my Corvette in summer of 2003. I did not realize there would be so much information in the internet for Corvettes; I am glad I chose a Corvette. I have seen people here from UK, even from Korea... CAC is the greatest source for Corvette information & knowledge. Even if a specific question cannot be answered here, people will tell you where you can find it.
