I received this from a Non-Corvette friend ;) I thought I would share it with you C1, C2 guys/gals :upthumbs

"After being drafted into the Army in 1963, he drove it to a base in Oklahoma, where the heat blistered its black paint. He's got a receipt for a 1966 oil change in Ventura, Calif., which was on the honeymoon route with his wife, Lois "

There Cannot Be Many Left

Whenever I take the 62 out to some of the more popular Vette events, curious owners always ask the same question. "How long have you owned it" and the reply is "I ordered it", a lot of respect is then advanced. Thereafter most of the time the 62 gets a lot closer scrunity and the observers are truly satisfied. Walk off comments like "It`s a Fuel Car too". I just smile, :) but it`s still a lot of fun. I don`t think there are anymore one owner 62 FI pieces out there. I put a discription in the C1 Corvette registry under 1962`s serial # 107512 that has a picture as new in 62 and a few as it is today. As of last week, there were over 288 views by others. By far the most viewed 1962 Corvette in the registry. :D
