No dash lights on my '65

As stated...The dash lights do not go on...First thing, changed fuse...No...The Light switch does work to turn on headlights...and to turn on interior lights...

Just thought I'd ask if anyone had a quick idea...
 
I had the same problem in my gauge console.

When I pulled the gauge console to restore it, I started to investigate and found that when I turned on the console lights, then jumpered the metal light body to a proper ground, it worked fine. This leads me to believe the actual gauge console is not grounded properly.

Haven't investigated further yet, but sounds like you may have a grounding issue as well.

Check the tail lights; dunno why, but I have it in my head that the dash lights fail if a tail light fails. I'll probably check the diagrams later and find I'm hallucinating.
