Okay, first off I know many people have written about problems they've experienced with their dash lights. Almost finding someone with the same problem,I'm still stuck. I have a1985 corvette that's been lately blowing fuses, (the instrument panel one) This all happened after one day I decided to pressure wash my car. No water entered the engine compartment, just the inside fender wells. I was going to go home, so I turned on my lights, and the screen was all dark,(gauges still work)So first thing that came to mind was my fuses.I checked them and sure enough the one marked instruments was blown.I replaced it and turned on my lights back on and still no dash lights.I checked the fuse and it was blown,it does it everytime I turn the parking lights on. I thought it might have been a bad dimmer switch from what I've read, but I replaced that and still the same thing happens. Now when my lights did work,2 of the bulbs were allready out(the tach side)Now that the other 2 are out, would that cause the fuse to keep blowing?I've got all new bulbs and sockets ready to go in,but I don't want to damage them.I've checked all my grounds and they seem to be good.In the instrument panel nothing at all looks burnt on the cicuit board. While I'm on the subject of lights, the A/C control lights are also acting up on me.When my dash did work, the A/C lights would work and wouldn't work sometimes.I noticed the lights go off and on once when I was using the A/C hot & cold lever.I am TOTALLY lost and I'm getting very impatient.I wanna drive the vette again!ANY HELP would be GREATLY appreiciated...........Thanks again.
