Noob paint question

Hey guys, this is my first post. I did a search on this topic with no luck. I'm really confused on the Z06 blue paint name. I thought it was called Electron Blue but can only find LeMans Blue. Did they change it or something? I'm in the process of restoring a car and fell in love with your shade of blue on the Z06 but I don't know what its called and therefore cannot find the paint code. My restorer told me it was "Indigo Blue" but I can't seem to connect the color Indigo with corvette on any search terms. Indigo matches other chevy cars such as the Avalanche. I hope these are the same shades as he already ordered the paint. If anyone can help me ASAP so I can get this straightend out, I would be greatly gratified!!!

Electron Blue Paint Codes

The paint code for Electron Blue Corvette is: U 779J ( 21/WA779J )
GM code 21U.
Try these. You can call a Chevy dealer or a Dupont paint store. They can verify help you. Matter of fact, I would go to the Dupont paint store first.


Lemans Blue is another color. It was used on 99's for sure. Not sure what other year you could get Leman Blue. JMO, but both Electron Blue and Lemans Blue are both beautiful shades of blue.

Hey guys, thanks for the quick responses. I've never seen such friendly people in any of the boards I go too.

Anyway, I can see that the paint that was ordered was not in fact what I really wanted. The code that he ordered was DBC4717T and I can't match that code with any chevy or any make or model for that matter. I read that GMC's could begin with BC but even then BC4717T can not be found. Anyone know what this could be? I don't even think its Indigo blue...

no lemans blue in 99! in 1999, the dark blue was "navy blue metallic", not lemans blue. navy blue was introduced in '98 (14 cars), and in 1999 thru 2001. nassau blue was 1997 thru 2000, electron blue was in 2002 and 2003, and lemans blue in 2004 and 2005. navy blue is close to indigo blue, but navy blue is a pearlescent blue, taking on a purple tint when the light hit it a certain way -
