Folks, just wanted to mention the newest COTM has been added to the www.callawayownersgroup.com website along with about a dozen+ other changes :cool

The other COTM's that were here on the message board have been added to the gallery, and for Aurora40, your request for non-fuzzy images (of Oct's COTM) have been added as well. ;)

Carlisle 2005 and Open House pics from two weeks ago have been added and there are a few other goodies here & there - Check it out :cool As always, if there is something you would like to see added, changed or otherwise done, feel free to drop a note :upthumbs

I heard from one owner tonite on a couple things and hopefully those will be ready and online by the begining of the week.

I hope everyone enjoys the site and all the Callaway related stuff as much as I do - Enjoy! :m

Heheh, thanks! That pearlish yellow color is awesome! I remember drooling over that car in Road & Track.

Man....... that car has a lot of eye appeal. Bet it will draw a crowd !!! Nice job Shopview. :beer

Great car Mark!!
I very much like the green coil springs with the swaybars, i make's the car more united to the suspension :) Very cool color combo to, enjoy!!

Chris, Thank you for the COTM honors :) ! We had a great time with the ya'll, the Callaway team, and the LICOA group at the open house. Callaway did a great job on the Coil-Overs, suspension, and paint matching. I never knew they would do custom touches like that. Their attention to detail is second to none. They went over the car front to back inch by inch and made sure everything is perfect. Several details the caight would never have made my radar and thus I learned some valuable points. We are looking forward to a wonderful fall drive in Dallas as soon as she returns from Old Lyme. Scott and Mike are putting 2 of Pete's ideas into motion this week while waiting for a one special person to come drive and bless the car :lou , and then she should be home very very soon :cool .

Thanks again for your time and support!

All the best,
Mark

Thanks Peter! I was mentioning to Callaway that the yellow shocks, blue coils, blue hats, red calipers, etc. just didn't sound good for a Old Lyme Green Car. I mentioned that I really like the all deep blue suspension components the C5 & C6 models have. They said no problem we can fix that;) I left Scott with artistic license and WOW:upthumbs ! They really came through.

Thanks again,
Mark

Thank you....I always wanted a B2K and this one ;) almost completes the C4 group. My other cars are all Black, White , or Gray and that made for a pretty boring color scheme in the garage. So, after asking several colleagues here on the board and Callaway, the big decision was made to match the 1991-001 TT to the 1991 Speedster 001 .... Old Lyme Green.

Anyone giving away a Speedster please call me first :eyerole

Mark

Wow those pics of Jim's car are incredible! He will need to meet my wife to convince her that it is ok to park in the living room!

Congratulations Jim, all that time and dedication to detail has truely paid off.

One word......Beautiful.

What two of Pete's many upgrades are you seeking? :D

Thanks Josh...They are putting in the short throw shifter and beam plates from ZR51 Performance while waiting for the test drive. I have a B&M short throw in my SNAT but the modified OEM shifter that ZR51 performance makes seems to be so much better! I've never tried the beam plates but I'll let you know what I think of them once we have her home.

When are you ordering a new toy ? Sad to hear you sold but glad the deal went well.

Sooner rather than later I hope, but it doesn't look like that will be the case. Right now Im trying to pay off some debt and afford a house here in Orlando(where the local real estate market is just stupid right now.... one bedroom apartments converted to condos selling for 170k-200k for 550sqft). Im hoping to land a sales position with my company and then it'll be Callaway soon.

There is one certain black 89 that I have my eyes on when the time comes though..... ;)

I think that is a wonderful idea! Cars belong indoors, like a museum - Mark, are you designing this display area into your new home?? :upthumbs

I would generally think that painting coils and sway bars to match the paint would look sort of tacky or over-the-top. Perhaps it's because of the already bold color, but man that looks really nice! The center-exit exhaust is pretty cool too. :v

Was that the car though?? Or do you have another in mind??

With Mark's COTM, there is one less black B2K out there now - That Green looks AMAZING and a cool tie-in to 91-001 Speedster :cool

Thats the one. :beer nothing but a pipe dream right now tho... :ugh
