>>> 66. last or vin 6s116149. block numbers,?111068 f0219ht <<<

S116149: Your car was built in early March 1966.

The engine assembly date would work (Feb 19), but the engine serial doesn't match your car. The 111068 would be 116149 if it were the original engine for your car.

"HT" (350hp if a Corvette engine) could be a 65, 66, 67, 68, or 69 engine. You need to find the block casting numbers (7-digit number atop the bellhousing mounting collar, driver's side) and the date code (same place, but on the passenger side) to verify the year.

Thank WayneC. I knew some one had the answer. Thanks Brent

Is their anyway to tell what motor actually came in car?

There are "clues", but only if the "clue" components are original. If the tach has a 5500 redline, it was a 300hp; 6000, it was an L-79 350hp. If it's a close-ratio 4-speed, it was a 350hp. If it has a 3.08 axle, it was a 300hp; if it has a 3.55 or numerically higher axle, it was a 350hp (could be either with a 3.36).

Johnz thanks for the info. Have ran into a few thing that lead me to think it may have been a big block. What are some of the clue that may help me? Thanks Brent
