Just curious how many of the CAC members have driven The Nordschleife? I was living and working in Italy and drove from Aviano to Nurburg and drove 4 laps on this world famous track. It was an unbelievable experience, but I wish I had known the track as well then as I do now (thanks to XBox...lol). It's amazing how fast the C5 Vette really is (was). Mine was a Z51 optioned car and I had lots of mods on it. I only roughly timed one of the laps at 10 minutes, which isn't real fast, but on the longest straight just before you exit, I had it going 165 (my fastest ever was 183 on the autobahn, running against a tuner Mercedes). Thirteen miles and 170 turns...you gotta love the Germans!
