I have just purchased a 2000 with Oak top. The top is in like new condition, but is just starting to look dirty in a few areas. What is the best way to keep it looking new? Does anyone have a tip on what type of cleaner to use?

I have the same color top and use a product called "Raggtop". You can buy it from the museum and other places. It works well but be careful when you re-apply the sealer. Too heavy a coat will turn the top dark and take longer to dry. Cool weather will also lengthen the drying time. It will come back to the right color though, so if you do soak it too much don't panic. Don't ask me how I know this ;)

I also bought a soft brush for cleaning leather from Griots Garage that I only use on the top. Wet top, apply cleaner and gently clean.

This is an excellent quality product.

I have the same color top. All I do is wet down the top real good. Where the dark spots are from lowering the top I just scrub lightly with Shout the one with the little brush on it. Then wash the rest of the top with a sponge and dawn dish soap. It works for me. Looks brand new. 99 Tourch Red Vert.:)
