Does anyone know where to find the official GM service instructions for scheduled maintenance?

I interested in the 50,000 service for my 2000 coupe. Just what does GM say needs to be done?

Do you not have your Owner's Manual? It will tell you what service to perform at what intervals...

Yes, of course I have my owner's manual. I am looking for a detailed description of what is to be done. GM has a "service instruction" for every operation to be performed. They are assigned a code. It reminds me of the Army. These codes are used to determine if a particular extended warranty covers the work done.

However, I'm asking because of warranty coverage. I'm asking because I suspect that my dealer's service department padded the intended work, i.e. added service work not called for in the GM definition of a 50,000 mile service. The work performed does go beyond the general terms in the owner's manual. I would like a specific description of the work to be done because I know that it exists.

Correction - "I'm NOT asking because of warranty coverage."

You may want to get the service manual from www.helminc.com There you'll find the original service manuals and which give every detail of everything you may ever need to know about the car.

That being said, the "big" service is at 60,000 miles, not 50,000. There is not much that needs to be done anyway. No coolant, no plugs, etc. . .
