Offset on 87 and 89 Corvette?

I have a set of rims and tires that fit on my 89 Corvette. They are aftermarket rims. A guy with an 87 Corvette wants to buy them. We need to know that they will fit. If they fit on my 89 will they for sure fit his 87? Is the offset the same?

Your 89 stock wheels are 17 x 9.5 with a 56mm offset. The 87 stock wheels are 16 x 8.5 with a 32 mm offset. Now sure what your non-stock wheels would be. But you will probably need adapters to put those 89 wheels on the 87. You might check with some of the aftermarket wheels places for further information.
