I might also suggest using Anti-Seize on future plug installs. The cast plug won't stick or gall in the aluminum head. Use caution and put it only on the threads and seat area-not the insulator.

I've actually seen a new Harley come in for a 500 mile service-back then you changed the plugs at the first service-when the tech took the plug out-out came the threads as well.

Anti-Seize is your friend...:)

I was told by a reputable mechanic that you can also use a drop of synthetic motor oil. HE says this will even work better. Personally I have done this for two years now.
 
I would be afraid of the oil being cooked out after awhile. The anti-seize won't do that.
