On Tuesday night, I had dinner w/ fellow Callaway COrvette Owner - Mangusta1969 and we were discussing Carlisle plans. At the end of the conversation, he said, "see you next week" to which I replied, "yeah, see you in a couple weeks" - I totally thought it was two weeks away still!!! :eek

Anyone else feel like the whole month of August FLEW by!?!?! :confused

One good thing though - we are that much closer to Corvettes @ Carlisle :cool

See ya at the show :v :w

August has been a blur for me, I'm active duty Air Force and I have been preparing for a two month training course. I leave on Tuesday for PA to pick-up my Callaway before heading out to the training.

I got lucky with the timing of the training course, it happened to coincide with Carlisle. I plan on attending Carlisle on Saturday with my father. I have never been to Carlisle. I used to go to Bloomington Gold when I was stationed in Missouri. So, I'll see you there.

I was able to get a set of C-4 rims and tires. I'll be sending the Dymags off for repair and paint after I return from the training. I'm going to try to find a wheel and tire place in the Seattle/Tacoma area. I have a couple of leads on local shops but I will probable check with the local Corvette club before deciding where to get the work done.

Glad to hear you get to make it for at least one day!! We (being the Callaway people) will all be wearing the Red Callaway Owners Group shirts on Saturday so it should'nt not be hard to spot us!

Steve, below is a map - when you arrive, you can park on site w/ your Callaway - by signing up for the "FunField" (go to the show registration tent at Gate 3)

The map below illustrates all this, including where the Callaway Owners Group will have a parking space waiting for your B2K :upthumbs

FunField price includes admission to the show for two :cool

Also, Sat eve, we will be leading the downtown parade - 6:15 is when we gather for that, departing shorty after...

See the details in the Carlisle info thread at the top of the Callaway Forum main page - See you next week :w
